Sugarmomma Open House

One of my favorite times of the year, maple sugaring!  Though I don't do it myself, I do like the fruits of the maple farmer's labor.  And I must say I am partial to the Sugarmomma!  I always  have a stash of Grade B syrup from her sitting in my fridge.

The annual Sugarmomma Maple Farm Open House at 213 Ridge Rd. Northwood, NH is coming up on March 27th and 28th from 9am to 3pm rain or shine.  This is a great time to get the family out in what will hopefully be glorious March sunshine!  Learn about sugaring, take a hayride to the sugar house, watch syrup being made and even enjoy a pancake meal featuring the freshly made maple syrup.  Kathy O'Donnell of Country Roads Farm in Webster, NH will also be offering pony rides.

While your at the farm, take time to meet Jethro and Tony the Scottish Highlander bulls, see her son Nicholas' heritage breed chicken and his chicks that are scheduled to be hatched.

Finally, don't forget to check out our maple products which include candy, cream, cotton candy, nuts, pop corn and ice cream all made with our pure maple syrup. (Mmmmmmmmm)

No purchase is necessary, just show up and enjoy the sweet smell of maple steam and the ambiance of a working sugar house. Hope to see you there!  Sugarmomma says to feel free to bring your camera and capture the moment!
