ART WEEKEND at artstream
This looks to be a fantastic weekend of learning, relaxing, and meeting the community around us at the artstream studio in Rochester, NH. (This is for all my "artsy fartsy" readers, of which, I am not!) Check it out...
THE ART WEEKEND at artstream fuses fine art workshops with yoga, community and fun, to transform and inspire the creative self.
THE ART WEEKEND runs from October 15, Friday afternoon through October 17, Sunday afternoon, with offerings centered at artstream’s 56 N. Main gallery and studio and the Roberge Center in Rochester NH.
THE ART WEEKEND includes 12 hours of fine art classes and more: Friday night, Saturday all day and Sunday all day will offer art, yoga, massage and more, as well as the opportunity to connect with some very amazing instructors and participants.
THE ART WEEKEND is also set in lovely New Hampshire at peak foliage season. Think warm days and crisp nights with nothing to stand in your way of making some new discoveries about your art!
THE ART WEEKEND includes clay workshops with award-winning ceramicist Megan Bogonovich, mixed media, gelatin print and silk screening workshops with fine artist and art instructor Susan Schwake and handmade books, journals, and papermaking with Sally Allen, instructor at Lesley College, and Mimi Kirchner of Boston, BFA creating fabric soft sculpture fish as seen at SOWA, Boston Handmade and her popular blog, “Doll”.
THE ART WEEKEND at artstream warmly welcomes everyone from beginner to experienced artist to come and explore a new medium or hone a skill which you wish to delve deeper into. Our studios are flooded with light and a nurturing atmosphere with experienced teachers interested in bringing out the individual's personal style. It's all about community here at artstream - one which we have been developing for the past 17 years. Come, join us and let your inner creative self play!
