What's for Dinner Wednesday 8/4

Yet another tasty What's for Dinner menu available at the upcoming Rye Farmers' Market!

This week is a perfect summer meal - simple to make and requiring a minimum of heat! Start with a cool, fresh summer salad to go with Creole Crab Cakes and grilled corn on the cob while sipping chilled Cayuga White wine. Then finish with a cool Cafe au Lait Pudding and iced coffee.

Also, don't forget to check out the featured vendor this week!

The featured vendor is Buzz Bomb World Spice Blends, which was started 4 years ago as a business but nearly all the blends have been used by owner, proprietor, Steven Scaturro for over a decade.  Two years ago, a complete line of gluten-free items was incorporated into Steve’s product line.  Both the Certified Organic Spice Blends and the gluten-free products are manufactured in small quantities to ensure maximum flavor and freshness. The spice blends have been developed to be multipurpose.  Most commercially available products have a high salt content, limiting them to use for grilled meats.  Buzz Bomb World Spice Blends are ground very fine and have a reduced salt content.  They can be used for dips, salad dressings, meat, chicken, fish, veggies, popcorn, soups and stews, rice dishes, sprinkled over nachos, mixed with mayo to add a new depth of flavor to your sandwich and more!
The Rye Farmers' Market is open from 2-5:30pm and located at the Rye Town Parking Lot to the right of the Rye Congregational Church where Central and Washington Roads meet.
