Community Supported Seeds

High Mowing Organic Seeds of Vermont has rolled out their Community Supported Seed (CSS) program.  With the CSS you can purchase "seed credits" to be redeemed during the upcoming gardening season.  Right now you can purchase seed vouchers for 10% off through the end of the year.  So a $100 voucher will cost you $90 now and can be used next year.  There are various denominations listed on the website or you can call and request any denomination you'd like.

Maybe you've already received some Christmas money, this would be a great place to make the most of your summer 2011 seed money.  The CSS will make a great gift for a gardener or farmer as well.  Do realize the actual voucher with instructions won't be mailed till sometime in January.  Don't let this stop you though, I'm sure you could come up with a nice gardener themed gift basket and slip a note in saying they have an organic seed
voucher coming as well.
