Seacoast Eat Local calendar
Are you looking for a one-of-a-kind Christmas gift? Seacoast Eat Local has put out a 2009 calender featuring pictures for the local area from various local photographers. Did I use the word "local" too many times? Well, I think that was the point!!
Alongside the photography and standard calendar features, Seacoast Eat Local's 2009 calendar also provides information about seasonal availability of local foods, storage tips, and information about area farmers' markets.
It sounds like such a nice calender, I'll be sure to pick one up for myself and maybe a gift or two. They are only $12 and can either be shipped to you or you can pick up at one of the upcoming holiday farmer's markets.

Oh how fun, I didn't know that they were doing this. I'll have to pick some up!
Check out this website:
They have a great database of locally and domestically made goods and foods. YOu can find domestically made foods, mom and pop stores that sell those goods, CSAs, farmers markets, and restuarants that use local ingredients.
And its a wiki type site so you can add your own company or ones in your area that you know that fit these criteria!
Check it out!
