December Holiday Market is upon us!

The next farmer's market is right around the corner! This Saturday, December 20, at the McIntosh Atlantic Culinary School from 9 am - 2 pm is the last farmer's market of the year. There will be 40 farmers and food producers with products ranging from vegetables, cheeses, and maple syrup to honey and sustainably raised meats.

You can also pre-order the Seacoast Eat Local calendar. What a great gift it would make!

From Sarah Zoe at Seacoast Eat Local:

Lots to see and do!
  • Slow Food Seacoast is returning to the market with their successful Veggie Valet service. This is a free service that let's you drop off your bags of goods while you continue to shop, then pull your car around to pick your purchases up on your way home. Thank you Slow Food Seacoast for this service!
  • We will once again be accepting donations of food or financial contributions for the Cornucopia Food Pantry. Our collective efforts at the Thanksgiving Farmers' Market gathered over 400 pounds of potatoes, squash, onions, garlic, fresh bread, apples, maple syrup, and other local foods.
  • Musicians and chefs providing cooking demonstrations will once again be on hand. Plan to shop and enjoy all that the market has to offer!
So it sounds like a blast and you know I'll be there! Money is tight right now, but I'm sure I'll pick up something! :) Hope to see YOU there!
