Concord Co-op Summer Wellness Classes

For my Concord area readers! The Concord Cooperative Market has a fabulous Summer Wellness Classes schedule. All classes are free and open to the public. Classes are held at the Celery Stick Cafe inside the market. Here are the two upcoming June classes:

Healthy Eating on the Go
Tuesday, June 2nd, 6:45 - 7:30 pm

Dr. Sam Sanzone, DC, Chiropractor

We all want to eat better. We all have busy schedules. How can we use what little time we have to provide proper nutrition for ourselves and our families? Attend this entertaining program and leave with practical tips to use the very next day!

From Bulk Bin to Table: Transforming Whole Grains into Delicious Meals
Tuesday, June 9th, 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Hilary Warner, Licensed/Registered Dietitian

In this class you will learn just what it is that makes whole grains so great nutritionally and discover how to use them to make delicious meals and snacks. You will take home a variety of tasty recipes using quinoa, wheat berries, kamut, wehani, millet, and barley.

Garlic Chive - take 4 leaves and add them to a 12 oz. jar of white vinegar. Let sit for 2-3 weeks and use to make your salad dressing. You can also add Basil and oregano or rosemary and thyme.
