Warming Weekend Events

I see the weather will be warming this weekend. I hope the mixed precipitation called for will just be rain to wash away the snow! Spring is just around the corner!

There are few upcoming events at the The Children's Museum of NH I wanted to bring to your attention. The first happening on Friday evening is the monthly Free Family Fun Night from 5:30-8 pm thanks to underwriting from Citizens Bank Foundation. This is a great chance to go check out the museum for free!

Also, the museum is beginning to take registrations for their Summer Camp programs. Various camp options are available for children ages 4 thru 10 years of age. And mark your calenders for next Saturday, March 8th, as Curious George will be visiting the museum from 10 am - 2 pm. He's a very popular character in my house courtesy of NHPTV!

Then there's the FINAL Winter Farmer's Market this Saturday at the Stratham Town Hall from 10 am - 2 pm. Can it be true? Spring/summer is just around the corner?! Stock up as this is the last farmer's market till May.

The last event this weekend is the 42nd Annual New Hampshire State Home Show in Manchester, NH. Show hours are as follows:

Friday, March 6th 1:00-8:00

Saturday, March 7th 10:00-8:00

Sunday, March 8th 10:00-4:00

There will be a few "Green Building" free workshops as well. This will be a fun event to browse around, especially if we do experience inclement weather.

Oh and don't forget to SPRING AHEAD one hour this Sunday. Yipee for more daylight!
