A Peek at the Week: June 22 - 28
I can't believe it's STILL raining. If not for the brief glimpses of sun, I might not believe the sun exists anymore! I hope everyone got out last Saturday and got every ounce of sunlight they could!
Here's a peek at this week:
June 21 - At 2:00 p.m., at the Portsmouth Lighthouse, an observance of the sixth annual New Hampshire Lighthouse Week will be held. The event is open to the public and free lighthouse tours will follow until 4 p.m.
Speakers at the event will include NH Lighthouse Week Director Joel Shelburne, American Lighthouse Foundation Executive Director Bob Trapani, Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse Operations Manager Jeremy D’Entremont, lighthouse historian William O. Thomson, and more. Local dignitaries will be on hand for presentations.

June 26 - Opening night of Grease at Prescott Park put on by the Prescott Park Arts Festival. Grease will run from June 26 to August 23 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. The Prescott Park Arts Festival has been running for 35 years now and if you've never seen a "play in the park" before, don't let this summer slip by!
June 27 -Strawberry Run & Strawberry Festival in South Berwick, Maine. The event will be held at 197 Main Street, at the Central School Grounds. A schedule of events can be found here. Entertainment will include:

- Northern Explosion Cloggers
- Funky Diva’s of Gospel
- Todd Wellington
- Women of Note
- Scharff Brothers
- 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Pancake Breakfast
- 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Yard Sale/Flea Market/Crafts Sale
- 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Live Music and Garrison Players Youth Theatre performances
June 28 - Barrington Farm Tour Day. Nine different farmers will have their homesteads open from 10 am - 3 pm. Click above link for more info!

Looking forward to Barrington Farm Day (hopefully it won't rain!!). When we've gone previous years, my favorite to see has always been the alpaca farm!
