Locavore Gift Idea #2

Let's stay with the food ideas, since you can never go wrong with food!  How about some local maple syrup?  My favorite is Grade B by Sugarmomma's Maple Farm.  Ok, ok, the Sugarmomma does offer other splendid maple treats.  How about homemade maple candies, maple peanuts, walnuts, cashews and popcorn, maple cotton candy, maple hot sauce.  There's also the homemade non-maple sweets; white trash (nuts, cereals and pretzels wrapped in white chocolate) or the new chocolate (good chocolate!) dipped Oreos.  I gave some of the maple hot sauce as a gift one year and it was very well received!  She can put together amazing custom gift boxes or baskets as well.

You can catch this popular lady (or maybe Sugardaddy!) at the upcoming Exeter Farmers' Market this Saturday, Dec 4 as well as at the Somersworth PTA Craft Fair.  The following Saturday (Dec 11) you can catch them at the Northwood PTA Craft Fair and the following week (Dec 18) you'll spot them at the Rollinsford Farmers' Market at the Wentworth Greenhouses.

If none of those Saturdays are convenient for you, feel free to give the Sugarmomma a call (contact info in her website header) and you can make arrangements to pick up at the sugar house in Northwood.

This is sure to be a welcomed gift!

Keep up with Sugarmomma's Maple Farm on Facebook as well.

(Can I pop in my cutie eating Sugarmomma's maple soft serve this summer?  Behind Lucy you can see a small sample of the delicious maple products available.)

Love Sugarmomma! When I lived closer, I frequented Deb's booth at the farmer's market all the time. She joked that I needed a 12-step program to get over her maple candy :)

P.S. Grade B is my favorite too, oh yum!
