Locavore Gift Idea #3

Um...food again.  Is that ok?  I don't hear anyone complaining!  Today I'm going to highlight Amelia Maes & Co.  Dagne Goodwin, owner of Amelia Maes & Co., makes some fantastic jams and jellies and let's not forget the barbecue sauce!

For jams you have your choice of Very Berry Jam, Crimson Jam, Spiced Blueberry Jam, Pear Apple Jam or Cranberry Horseradish Jam.  There's also the more spicy selection; Raspberry Thai Jam, Golden Hot Pepper, Emerald Hot Pepper Jelly and Pineapple Habenera Hot Pepper Jelly.  If desserts are what you're after, why not try the Apple Maple Dribble, Blueberry Pie Dribble, or the Raspberry Dribble.

Dagne's husband came up with the master recipe for their equally tasty Goodies Barbecue Sauce. It's a Kansas City style sauce with all natural, no additives, perservatives or colorings.  It's really really good!

You can find Amelia Maes & Co. products at Philbrick's Fresh Market in Portsmouth, Harvest Markets in Hollis, Bedford and Marlborough, Chalifour's in Manchester, Concord Coop in Concord and Butlers Pantry in Dover.  You can also contact Dagne directly through her blog and arrange pickup that way as well.

Also, don't forget to check out Christmas in Strafford  this Saturday and Sunday from 9 am - 4 pm.  You can stop by Dagne's place on Saturday only, she's stop #14.  Be sure to stop by the website to get a map of this unique craft fair!

What about a homemade gift basket of coffee, maple syrup AND a jam or jelly?  Now you're talking!  I will be back on Monday with Locavore Gift #4.  See you then!
